Classical Ballet (for children ages 3 years and older)
Flamenco (for children ages 9 years and older)

Channel your energy as you develop self-discipline and artistry.

Enrol in one or more courses, at a level that is most appropriate for you, based on your age and past dance training.
Not sure? Our teachers will assist you.

Classes in French and English presented by bilingual staff.
And we set the barre high when it comes to teaching standards.

On stage, please!
All Youth Program students have a chance to perform in a major year-end production
staged by a professional choreographer. Past presentations include an original version
of the Wizard of Oz created by the late Brydon Paige.

The Courses
Pre-Ballet - from 3 years
An initiation into body expression using motifs, music and rhythm.
An introduction to body placement and the basics of structuring movement while encouraging imagination and creativity.

Ballet
Ballet courses at several levels. Classes in pointes and repertoire are also open to advanced students.
Some courses are offered once weekly, others two-to-three times per week.

Flamenco

Scholarships
Each year, Ballet Divertimento awards a limited number of scholarships to promising students.
