A winning formula to optimize academic and artistic performance
The Dance-Study program is open to girls and boys from 5th grade of primary school to 11th grade. Dance training is given in parallel with the academic education provided by the participating school. This approach ensures that young dancers develop both intellectual and artistic skills, which are transferable to other future professions, if so desired.
Ballet Divertimento’s program promotes mastery of the technical components of classical and contemporary dance, the study of different dance styles, and the development of an artistic approach. Students take classes in ballet, pointe, variations, pas de deux and classical repertoire, and also study contemporary dance, character dance and Pilates. The program offers 15-to-18 hours of dance classes per week, depending on the student’s level. Instruction takes place in the afternoon for high school students. All students receive quality support from the teaching staff that is tailored to their experience and abilities.
Students also have the opportunity to work with guest choreographers and to participate in mid-term and end-of-year shows.
